Key to the tremendous survey efficiency of WEAVE will be the large field of view accessible to the fibre positioner. Thanks to a new optical and atmospheric dispersion corrector, the field of view of the WHT PF will be enlarged to a diameter of 2 degrees, from the current 40 arcminutes.
