TEK2 on LDSS

The TEK2 CCD has an area of 1024x1024 pixels. The image size is 1124x1124, which includes the underscan/overscan regions. The LEXT files you need to ensure are up to date in your working directory are:

• lext.startup
• lext.set
• readim.proc (only necessary for reading images)

At ING, these files will be updated and checked by ING staff before handing the intrument over to you.

If you are at all unsure about these files when the instrument has been handed over to you, check them:

• If you have the correct lext.startup, the parameters Nx and Ny should both be set to 1124.
• If you have the correct lext.set, the parameter Detector should be set to TEK2.
• If you have the correct readim.proc, the comment header should indicate that the file is to be used for TEK2.
